How to tie a stole correctly

What is a stole?

Stoles are made by hand or using a machine, and the colors can be absolutely any: from delicate to very bright and variegated shades. Such scarves can be worn all year round, only it is worth choosing the right material from which such items are sewn.

How to tie a stole

The stole can be tied in absolutely different ways, there are a huge number of ways and you can even develop your own. Below we have presented the most popular basic methods.

Clamp

We take a stole and fold it lengthwise to make a long and narrow scarf. Then we weave it around the neck in the form of a ring, and bring the ends forward. They need to be tied together, as indicated in the photo, and the remaining ends should be hidden in a ring under the throat.

Cowboy style

Fold the stole across and form a ring. We put the ring on the neck, and then we twist the stole and, making another loop, we put it on the neck again. Later, we straighten the creases a little in front of the mirror.

Beanie

We fold the stole in half and apply it to the head like an ordinary scarf. Next, we twist the ends of the stole into a knot, and wrap its tail around the head, while not letting go of the ends. When you completely wrap the tail of the stole around your head, you will get a sticking out tail of the scarf in the forehead area - that's right. Next, we tuck the tip of the tail into the scarf itself on the head, and gently throw the protruding tail back, like a combed strand of hair, and fix it under the scarf.

Knot

Fold the stole lengthwise and put it on the neck in the form of a collar. Next, we twist the loop itself on the chest in the form of an eight and hide both hanging tails in the resulting ring. Tighten the ring a little to tighten it and the ends of the stole will hang nicely from the knot.

Bow

We fold the stole lengthwise and throw it over the neck, while holding both ends in our hands. Next, we form a bow-shaped loop from one end, wrap the bow in the middle with the other end, creating a beautiful shape and hide the tip inside.
