Liquid eyeliner is a cosmetic product designed to draw arrows along the upper and lower eyelids without touching the mucous membrane. Usually, liquid eyeliners are presented in the form of small bottles with an applicator and a long soft brush, or a short hard one.

It is not always easy to draw arrows with liquid eyeliner, but they certainly turn out to be very bright and saturated. The most popular color for liquid eyeliner is black.

Types of liquid eyeliner

The brush is not all the differences that divide liquid eyeliner into different categories:

Classic

Liquid eyeliner comes in handy tubes or bottles of various sizes. There is a large selection of colors on sale, with or without glitter added, as well as with a difference in the brush itself.

Liquid marker

The liquid felt-tip pen has a tight brush at the end, which is quite convenient for drawing arrows along the upper and lower eyelids. The felt-tip pen will allow you to quickly create complex make-up options, but you should know that it will be more difficult to erase the excess here.

Liquid, gel eyeliner

The professional product is available in pill jars. It is applied to the eyelids with a special applicator brush, where it can be easily spread over the skin, blend or layered.

How to draw arrows with liquid eyeliner

Gel option

You will need an additional applicator with a beveled edge, which will be very convenient to blend the arrows, thereby filling the mucous area.

Start from the outer corner of the eye, where, using the classic applicator, draw a thin ponytail, as shown in picture 2. Next, we thicken the tail itself, draw the arrow a little further along the upper eyelid to the inner corner of the eye and shade everything with a flat brush.

Felt-tip pen

The felt-tip pen must first be placed at an angle, as shown in picture # 1. Outline for yourself visually the future tail along the line of the felt-tip pen itself. Next, draw the line of the outer tail, carefully draw a hinged line from above, as indicated in the figure, and bring the line itself to 1/3 of the eye. Then we continue to draw a line along the upper eyelid to the inner corner. Paint over the outer ponytail.

Classic liquid eyeliner

First, draw the outer ponytail in the form of an elongated line with a barely noticeable bend inward. From the very tip of the tail, draw a hinged line up to 1/3 the width of the eye. Carefully draw a line from the end point to the inner corner and paint over the tail.
